138 people tuned in to the first Together for Devon webinar for care homes and care providers.

Leaders from the NHS in Devon and local authorities hosted an hour session to discuss COVID-19 related issues, providing advice and guidance on local support available.

The webinar focused on personal protective equipment (PPE), swabbing (staff and patients) and discharge from hospital into the community. The webinar marks the first in a series of weekly videos.

Philip King, Chief Nurse, NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group, said; “I am really pleased that so many people took part in the webinar.

“We know how challenging things are at the moment and hope that we have been able to provide some practical advice and support for those providing such crucial services.

“It was great to see so many questions flooding in and some positive feedback about the information provided.”
